Are You Being Called? Have You Been Chosen?

The National Council of Catholic Women Leadership Training and Development Team is coming to Peoria for a day of learning, prayer and formation. This event is for women all across the state of Illinois! Leadership does not come with a title or position; it is in our actions. We are all called to be servant leaders in our families, in our parishes, and in our communities. This event will be held in Peoria on Saturday June 23. Early Bird Registration is $25 by May 15. Further details will be forthcoming.

Smile Ministry

Smile Ministry The Smile Ministry names are in the back of the church. Please take a name and send a Valentine’s Day greeting!
Do you know someone who can’t get out and needs a smile sent their way to brighten their day? Ask them if they would like to have their name put on our Smile list. They will be sent a greeting at each holiday throughout the year. Call the office to add a name to our list.

Just Jesus and Me is a Lie

Fr Barr explains how Jesus came to die on the cross for us, but His ministry was to establish His Church for our good. As the Bible says in Genesis; “It is not good for man to be alone” (2:18). God established His Church to be a means of grace for each other. You are the Body of Christ. You are a means of grace to each other as well as the hierarchy and the sacraments.
