Join Us for a Parish Potluck

 The sun is out, and we should be too! We’re having a party, and inviting you! Everyone’s coming, you should be there! Bring your family, and a dish to share!
Join us for a parish potluck at St. Joseph Church after the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, June 10. Weather permitting, there will be seating outside and fun and games for the kids! Sign up to bring a dish to pass – see Zak Zovko after all 10:30 Masses until the event. Bring hot or cold dishes, or desserts. Beverages will be furnished.

Pink Heals and Madonna Renewal Center Golf Balls From Heaven Ball Drop

Help empower women at the 2017 Golf Ball Drop on Wednesday, September 20 and 6pm. It will be at the Freeport Club, though the winner need not be present.

Movie Night; Full of Grace

Friday night’s Movie Night will feature the movie “Full of Grace” It is a movie about Mary and the Apostles after Jesus has ascended into heaven. It is coming close to the end of Mary’s life and the apostles are dealing with some decisions they have to make for the Church.

Come watch the movie with us at the Holy Family Community Center This Friday at 7pm in the Holy Family Community Center.

St Mary Church Debt Elimination

I know many people have questions about the money situation for St Mary Church. St Mary Church currently has a debt of about $237,000. Because we do not make enough to pay our bills, we are looking at a deeper debt by next July. Some parishioners have come together with me to start a debt elimination strategy. Debt does not go away by itself; there must be a plan, and we need everyone to help. Continue reading

Coffee and Donuts

We will not be having the coffee and donuts after the 10:30am Mass this weekend due to the Mary Fest celebrations.

Mary Fest will start with a 12noon international Mass. This Mass will be celebrated in English and Spanish with the intentions in other languages as well. There will be lots of food, including Fr Barr’s famous ribs. There will live entertainment and games. Come and enjoy the fun.
