The Jewish people followed God in the pillar of cloud when leaving Egypt. God Himself lead them all the way to the promised land. We, too, follow God wherever He may lead us. The feast day of Corpus Christi will be on Sunday, June 3, after the morning Mass at St Joseph Church. We invite all people to come and join us in making a public witness of our faith. We will follow Jesus where He may lead us (to St Mary Church).

Bible: Acts of the Apostles #18
Paul makes his case in Jerusalem in the beginning of Chapter 22. He starts out by getting their attention. He is not getting attention just to glorify himself; his whole drive is to spread the good news about Jesus. He knows he needs to gain credibility for them to come to know Jesus, so he speaks in Hebrew (v2). My guess would be that he does not have a bad accent. Even when Peter speaks, the others comment on his accent right before he denies Jesus (Mt 26:73). My bet is that since Paul grew up in Jerusalem (v3), he was able speak well. He also drops the name Gamaliel. Gamaliel was a renowned teacher and was highly respected by most Jews at the time. Continue reading “Bible: Acts of the Apostles #18”
Domingo de la Santisima Trinidad ciclo B 2018
Para entender algo de lo que es nuestro Dios, según nuestra pobre manera humana de hablar y pensar, debemos atenernos de lo que nos dice san Juan, cuando afirma que Dios es amor.
