Luke 20:27-38

27 There came to him some Sadducees, those who say that there is no resurrection,  and they asked him a question, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife but no children, the man must take the wife and raise up children for his brother. Now there were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and died without children; and the second  and the third took her, and likewise all seven left no children and died.  Afterward the woman also died.

Explanation of Marriage

The church has responded to the redefinition of marriage. Bishop Malloy of the Rockford Diocese, IL has asked all priests of his diocese to read his response at all masses this weekend. Fr Barr goes into more detail as to why the Church is so set on the teachings of Jesus the Christ.

All Saints Day  11-1-13
Freeport IL.-  Father Timothy Barr teaches the children that all Saints day is a feast day in the church and a cause for much rejoicing. We are honoring our brothers and sisters in Christ who have gone before us and are now experiencing the joy of being in Heaven with our Father. And through the intercession of these saints they can be of help to us as we strive to serve and love God.
