What is a “Blue Mass”? A blue mass honours our first responders (police, paramedics, firemen and those who are there for us in emergencies. We celebrate Mass as an act of worship to God in honor and thanksgiving for those who put their life on the line for us. Why “blue”? because traditionally these people wore blue, though they may not today.
We thank God for their sacrifices they make for our good and the maintenance of order and safety. They are truly heroes. Come and join us tonight, Thursday, September 10 to honour our first responders. The procession will begin at St Wendelin’s Church at 6:30pm.
