Living the Moral Life 30

This was supposed to be last weeks article.

The sixth Commandment says, “You shall not commit adultery”. (Ex 20:14) What is adultery? Adultery is when a person has relations with another and one of them is already married. To understand why adultery is so bad and all the Church’s teachings on sexuality, we need to understand the nature of marriage. You can find much information on marriage in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraphs 1601 through 1666. When you see a reference “CCC” followed by a number, it is referring to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the paragraph number. To find it in the Catechism, the number is in bold, or you can look it up on the internet or on some apps for the smartphone. It will take some articles to get through how God sees marriage. It will not be exhaustive, but will be enough for anybody with an open heart and mind to understand why the Church and Jesus teaches what He teaches. Continue reading

Abortion Activist Threatens Student’s Life After Writing Pro-Life Column, Ohio State Ignores It

Ohio State University is coming under heavy criticism today for ignoring a threat an abortion activist made against a pro-life student after she published an article exposing the high percentage of abortions on black babies.

Madison Gesiotto wrote an article that appeared in The Washington Times, titled “The number one killer of black Americans.”
