Pope Francis: A Worldly Church Is A Weak Church

During morning Mass today, Pope Francis emphasized the importance of entrusting the Church to God through constant prayer. The Holy Father celebrated Mass with staff from the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See.

Returning Our Love to Jesus

                I think of holy blessed I am for being here in Freeport and serving these communities. This town has its struggles that we inherit in our communities. But even in these struggles, it is wonderful to see how the people in this community care for each other. Thank God we have each other to lean on in our times of need.

Saved Lives Save Others

After 40 years of legal abortion in the United  States, the case for life is poignantly made by abortion survivors themselves.  These are people whose mothers were headed to see the abortionist, but by a miracle  of grace were saved. Now, looking back as adults, they realize that their  personal connection gives them a responsibility to promote the message of  life.

Three abortion  survivors shared their stories with the Register.

Claims Against Church Teachings Likely False

I was preparing for a Bible Study Workshop starting in late May and ran across some information on Dan Brown’s Book, The Da Vinci Code. It is important not to be taken away by someone’s poor research or political twists. The world loves to take your faith away from you by filling you with lies. This is a good example why we shouldn’t read just anything. We need to make sure what we read actually builds us up and presents the truth.
Hopefully we are all the more wiser and more careful of who we listen to. Here is the  information from Wikipedia.
